Introducing the New Solidigm D5-P5430 SSD: Delivering High Density, Superior TLC-like Performance at a QLC Price Point

Datacenter storage hebben lang de voorkeur gegeven aan read/write intensive triple-level cell (TLC) storage voor toepassingen zoals SQL Server, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) en meer. Nieuwe read-intensive technologieën zoals artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) en analyse, evenals toepassingen die gegevens bij de bron lezen en schrijven, zoals edge computing en Internet of Things (IoT), zetten IT-professionals er echter toe aan een combinatie van TLC en meer betaalbare, read-intensive solid-state drives (SSD’s) met een hogere density en quad-level cell (QLC) in hun datacenters in te zetten en hun prestaties daarop af te stemmen.

Helping meet these new data center challenges, DataON is excited to add the new Solidigm D5-P5430 QLC SSD, the first Solidigm-branded storage offering since its acquisition of the Intel SSD product line, in its Microsoft-validated Integrated Systems and validated nodes for Azure Stack HCI.

Solidigm D5-P5430 SSD’s bieden een schaalbare capaciteit en hoge prestaties voor mainstream en read-intensive workloads, terwijl ze tot 31% TCO-besparing bieden, tot 3x opslagcapaciteit per PCIe-slot verhogen en de energiekosten tot 4,3x verlagen in vergelijking met een all-TLC-array.

Solidigm D5-P5430 SSD’s zijn beschikbaar in een breed scala zoals U.2, E3.S en E1.S. Deze zullen beschikbaar zijn in capaciteiten variërend van 3,84TB tot 30,72TB die kunnen worden ingezet in 1U en 2U configuraties. Solidigm D5-P5430 SSD’s leveren TLC prestaties op QLC-prijs basis:
